How it works

The process of working with Course Response can be broken into three steps:

1. Customize Course Response

Your administrators, deans, department chairs and instructors select the questions they want asked on the evaluations.

After accessing Course Response, your administrators, deans, department chairs, and instructors select the questions they want asked for their courses. If you desire, you can configure Course Response to allow custom questions to be written, or you can opt to use a question pool.

2. Collect Data

Students access the system and submit one anonymous course evaluation per course in which they are enrolled.

At the date and time you specify, your students are emailed to let them know that they are able to log in to complete their course evaluations. Upon accessing Course Response, each student is able to submit one evaluation per course in which they are enrolled. This submission is absolutely anonymous - no connection could ever be made between the submitted evaluation and the student who submitted it. Even so, Course Response can still send reminder emails to the students who have not yet completed their evaluations.

3. Generate Reports

Each instructor's results are emailed to them, and designated administrators access the reports they need, including reports that have been custom-built to your exact specifications.

After the window during which students can respond to their evaluations closes Digital Measures emails the results to your instructors. Follow-up actions can be taken immediately, further signifying to students the value of the evaluations.
