Project Consultant

As a Project Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of client projects, helping them to drive fast time-to-value and sustainable success with our solutions. This includes consulting on project management, software implementations and change management best practices, as well as developing a deep understanding of our solutions to train administrators and answer questions.

Primary Duties

  • Manage a portfolio of client projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction
  • Create organized and attainable project plans with clients that drive fast time to value and success with our solutions
  • Train clients and answer questions as needed on features and functionality of our solutions
  • Advise clients on project management, implementation and customization best practices
  • Coordinate completion of needed system customizations with Project Developers
  • Position clients for success post-project, ensuring they are ready to be self-sufficient using our solutions and driving adoption with their users
  • Consult with Client Success Managers and other internal teams on plans for clients considering projects
  • Represent client needs and trends internally
  • Participate in prioritized projects as assigned
  • Travel periodically
  • Other duties as assigned

  • A high level of competence in communication, critical thinking and problem solving
  • Exceptional written and oral communication with ability to confidently answer questions, address issues and distil complex topics
  • Exceptional multi-tasker with the ability to juggle many responsibilities at once, effectively prioritizing work to complete each successfully and on time
  • Quick learner who absorbs knowledge to understand our software’s capabilities
  • Organized, detail-oriented and self-starting

  • Able to work flexibly based on the changing nature of processes and client needs

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business, communications or a related field
  • 3.5 GPA or higher
  • 2-4 years experience managing a portfolio of projects for external clients
  • Experience with databases a plus
  • Experience with higher education a plus
  • Experience with training or adult learning initiatives a plus
